Bancroft cannot deny his ball tampering as he was caught by cameras but Smith, Warner and Lehman can deny their involvement in the episode and can put entire blame on their junior player. But they are brave enough to accept their guilt and apologized for their misdoings.
Did any player involved in the previous 14 incidents apologize for their ball tampering which was done by them knowingly or unknowingly?

Gera Kishore, Bancroft is a new guy in the team hence to think that this would have happened without Smith & Warner's knowledge is so naive. On the other hand, they knew he is a new guy and would get very less punishment if caught, so may have used him in their plan.
