Frankly one should not be surprised at the pre-meditated planned ball tampering by the Aussies. It was waiting to happen one day the way the Aussies are famous to play their cricket the so called 'hard way' euphemism for not playing strictly as per the spirit of the game. The infamous Aussies "sledging" everyone knows is nothing short of unprintable 'abuse' of worst form on the opponents they always resort to intimidate the opponent to win at all cost with ICC conveniently looking the other way given Aussie clout in ICC. Wonder if it could also be a diversionary tactics to hide their more serious offences like ball tampering etc. The English could feel ‘tricked’ on their humiliating defeat in the recent Ashe series after this incident. Even Indians should check the past video footage of lost series with the Aussies for any foul play. It is time ICC learns and puts in place adequate preventive measures to avoid such defaming of the gentlemen's game. In fact the match referee should have awarded the match to SA given it was pre-mediated planned attempt and not done on the heat of the moment. Only with such strong measures the ‘Ball tampering’ incidents can be checked in future. Coming to Smith and Warner both must be stripped of any captaincy duties in international cricket or in even in IPL.As they have admitted to their mistakes they can be allowed to play.

Australians have convict ancestry. Lying, cheating, theft, hypocrisy, alll comes naturally to them. Australia and Pakistan cricket teams cannot play without cheating. The outrage in Australia over its cricket cheating scandal is fake. It is not over shock that the team cheated. It is shock that the cheaters were caught out.
