It is beyond doubt that the basic reason for India's downfall, foreign aggression as casteism. It is hightime we should shun casteism and have an egalitarian society.If and only if we want development casteism should be stopped. Discontinuing reservation will certainly be a step towards an egalitarian society. But it is also true that in our country there is huge difference between haves and have nots and all are not getting equal opportunities. Therefore reservation is necessary, but it should be solely on the economical standard. Present system of reservation is only benefitting the rich and already priviliged class only and thereby promoting discrimination. Children of Beauracrats , doctors, engineers are are benefitted in the name of reservation.

Birth-based caste system, according to which people who carry bad Karma accumulated due to sins in their previous Janma are born into lower castes, is fundamental to HHinduism, though some try to deny that.
I agree that HHinduism is more secular than any other religion in the world, but it needs a more methodical attempt to change the 4000-year old birth-based caste system.
First an authoritarian rule should be imposed and then:
1. Impose strict family planning—2-child policy among Dalits.
2. Open English-medium schools in all Dalit colonies. Just to teach English from Class 1 to Class 5 does not cost much or need big infra. This can be easily achieved by reducing the salaries of our useless GovtEmployees by 5% (or just by not revising their salaries for 30 years). 3. Order all Dalit gov employees to take monthly English tests and to score min, failing which they lose increments. 4. Make it mandatory for all Dalits taking min number of English tests and scoring min, before they can use their reservation certificates. 5. Teach mainly English and maths from Class 1 to 5 (teach the same content as a subject in Mother tongue). Teach history, science, etc only after 8th class. 6. Make NCC compulsory (with English commands) and train them well in western manners, parallel with Indian manners (of course keep them away from bad habits of the West).
7. Instill achievement-oriented attitude among Dalits.

Govt. as to make a reform that Land's & House given to Dailt's Or any other category people have no right to sell. So, that he have to cultivate for living or other wise give back to govt. so that govt. can give to other's for cultivation.

almost 70% seats filled by resevation ,quality of doctors and engineers are worst and they got job in govt. services ,they are making blunders in their respective job .
Many belonging to wealthy & criminal-communities with muscle=power and money-power like Jats, Yadavs, Gujjars, Modis, Jaiwals, Patels, Kapus, etc in OBC list.
Now reservations have degenerated to the level wealthy and criminals are getting empowered, not the poor and weak.

correct because of reservation sc/st coming from poor to Normal but then after becoming normal why they want reservation now ? sc/st had already enjoyed reservation for 75 years its time to think about other cast people also.

we are not against reservation but caste base reservation is a disease. give reservation to poor people. sc/st people who are poor they will also get reservation. there are many sc/st people who are crorepati and getting reservation and on the other hand many upper cast poor people and suffering because of caste base reservation

Because still Untouchability can be feel all over INDIA from Upper caste level. Still upper caste people did't learn the lesson from past. So Sc/St people need Rservation.

If reservation cancelled you people will again push Sc/St people from Normal to Poor. Read history, how badly Upper caste people done to Sc/St people in past.

I agree Sc/st people suffered much in past. but those people who tortured sc/st are not exist now,they are passed away, but because of reservation today's generation is suffering they hardly any hand in that torture and forget about sc/st they are small in number but what about OBC why government giving reservation to OBC? they had not face any hard time in past

Even now too the upper caste people does't allow Sc/St people to take higher position. They always want to Degrade Sc/St people. it is still Running. Reservation Must Required untill Upper caste people stop these all.

ok means you are taking revenge of the past. not only sc/st people women also suffered very much in past they didn't have any right just kitchen and children that's it, but women never asked for reservation. in fact more than sc/st women had suffered in the past but now many women are ahead of men without any reservation

Ashim Munna may be u r right but this happens only in remote villages not in a metro cities like mumbai,delhi,kolkata and all no one ask your caste in metro cities your abilities all matters in such cities and upper caste students suffer more in such metro cities. I just want to give 1 example. sc/st student who got 50 % get admission in no 1 college and upper cast student with 90% don't get admission in same college just because of he is from upper caste. I think this is unfair. thats why I support Financial condition base reservation than caste base

Family of Those who have got benefit of reservation and whose income is above R/s. 5 lacs should forego reservation right so that their own fellow brothers can get benefit. The wealthy people of every caste should come forward to help their people.
