What sort of justice system is this where merely on the basis of the Jahan statement that MS did this , and did that, the police have registered a servious criminal case against him, which will land him in jail first and THEN the case begins.Since our courts themselves say a man is innocent till proved otherwise, the police should have first investigated if there are any merits in Jahans statement and then registerd the case and at most impounded his passport. The problem isunlike in the UK or USA the police first collects evidence and then arrests the culprit, In this case what if after 5 years, by which time MS career and life is ruined, the police and courts find that Jahan has made false statements to extract money from SM will the so called justice system be able to return his honour and dignity or put Jahan in jail for false complaint. The latter seldom happens.

Sahmi is her 2nd Innings Hubby. She already married someone before which failed. So think twice before marrying a model or an actress. Obsession for beauty can cost you a lot.

No time has come to stop misuse of Section 498A, where the state itself allows the woman to lodge false cases against the husband, and gives her alimony on the whims and fancies of the courts, not on any merits. In this case Jahan has made serious charge of attempt to murder, and she should be jailed if her allegations are proved false. But as said this seldom happens. MS should write directly to the CJI, let us see if takes interest or in the name of women enpowerment, allows the blatant loot.

What I mean is State orders the police to lodge the FIR without allowing the police to first check merits of the case, because the Court treats the police merely as postmen, who have to obey their orders. In this and innocent life can be ruined.
