Really not happy the way Dhoni handled the situation. It was not a test match to be drawn, but a one day match. He was seen fiddling around from the beginning itself and did not play his natural game. It was not too late when he came to crease and with Raina first and then Hardik on the other end, he could have taken the lead role and played positively. He demotivated the other two batsmen through his approach. It was utter boring to see him playing like that. Play some shots and while doing so if he lost his wicket nobody should have blamed him. When you defend more, you are giving the opposition a better chance of winning. Better try and even if you lose it does not matter, but it was like surrending.

Certainly Dhoni has contributed immensely for Indian Cricket. But it is time for him to give way for Rishab Pant. When Ashwin and Jadeja (in prime form) can be replaced by Chahal and Kuldeep (who have done more than expected) why not Rishab Pant.

Even Umesh Yadav and Sidarh Kaul not impressed me. They can bowl fast, but no variations and not good enough for England conditions. Absence of Bumrah and Bhuvi is hurting a lot. Even Hardit bowls much better than these two front line bowlers. Further more Indian tail is now become too long. After Dhoni remaining 4 are of no use. Bhuvi and Aswin can bat much better. Chahal can be replaced by Aswin. Rishab Pant should have been included in the team. Dhoni should have been rested for 2-3 games and Pant should have been given an opportunity.
