India's great win
by srirama chandra rao on Jul 09, 2018 01:20 PM

India has restricted England to 198 runs which at one time it was likely to go in for 230 or so runs. Thanks to Pandya and others who took wickets regularly in the second half of the match. Then the turn of Rohit, Kohli and Pandya to do the honours for the team by keeping constant vigil on run rate and Rohit stood till last and ensured the win in the company of Pandya who has fired at will Well deserved win with good team effort by seven wickets

Not a great deal
by Jayaprakash Balan on Jul 09, 2018 11:17 AM

With due credit to the efforts of Indian team and the skill of our players its no great deal that the likes of Rohit and Virat Kohli are breaking records or creating ones because during all these years they have faced the worst bowling attack or even the great teams that have gone to the bottom level. England team looks so hopeless especiall their captain Morgan who doesn't deserve to be a captain. Wonder how can Australia be so worst in their game that a worser team like England can beat them. If England cannot defend a total of 198, then they do not deserve to play cricket. How worser more can any bowlers be than England bowlers who neither has a winning attitude or even confidence on their skill as a bowler or fielder or batsman. Seems English selectors and coach still thinks that cricket is a gentlemen's game and nobody can play better then them. Rather now England should learn from the likes of Virat, Rohit, Dhoni. They are not even able to match the level of Hardik Pandya. The ODIs and test matches should be a clean whitewash unless our team doesn't give them a gift of win which Virat doesn't look like to give as he is the perfect and best captain in the world.
