In a team sport captain is just a guide. Those who are playing under the captain have their own capabilities and talents that's why they are in the national team. Dhoni is right by saying it is not necessary to say everything to everybody as it is case of common sense and when you are playing for the national team, you are supposed to have that common sense. This trait of Dhoni shows how much he respects his teammates by giving them enough space to think for themselves and take decisions on their own. A great leader is the one who respect the abilities of his wards and give them enough freedom and to boss over or impose the decisions on them.
Lastly, when he said he is over exposed as a captain shows how selfless he is. I think India has produced a great captain and a leader in Dhoni.
well said dhoni...india's best captain till date and greatest indian cricketer till date...he is the one who built up indian teams in all 3 formats from scratch after the retirement of past generation legends...

Very true..No doubt a great captain and cricket brain..Same work done by Ganguly before..So its just time which changes..We definitely need MSD for 2019. But after he must quit to make way for youngsters..Players like Kartik never got enough chances..And Pant waiting in the wings..He gas completed 500 international games legend no doubt but unless others are given chances how we will get better or stay on top??
