The IPL as started by laalit moodi should be banned. He pretends that he is the pioneer of the idea of a cricket league, when it was Kapil Dev who really started it. Sensing that a lot of illegal money could be made from it ,this fellow laaliit moothi got into it and got a rule passed that anyone playing in ICL(which was Kaipl's league) cannot represent the country. Hence the ICL folded up and he started his own crooked league!!!.

Concept of IPL is OK but.........
by Jayaprakash on Jan 30, 2018 11:44 PM

Too many insignificant games and intention is money making only. Highly exhorbitant auction rates for certain players. Plus point is that IPL gives opportunity for many young players to show their talent. In that way, the concept of IPL looks good.
Need to reduce number of matches per team to minimum possible. It is creating too much of chaos due to repeated matches at same venues and normal public life gets discrupted due to security arrangements around the stadium. In simple words, we are in a kind of situation like having 365 days of cricket inclusive of international matches and IPL. it is really over doze. If we do counting to make it easy it is better to check how many days of not having cricket in a calender year than checking otherwise.

The government is supposed to legislate. When it does not do its duty, the courts step in. You may call it 'over-stepping', or 'legal over-reach'. But the courts have to intervene when the government does not perform its duty and someone approaches the court with a PIL.

Sir,
ED refused permission to Lalit Modi to cross examine witnesses. Lalit Modi approached the court. What should the court do, according to you? Go as per ED's decision?

Here the question is violations of FEMA if any on a/c of IPL held in South Africa during 2009. Regarding your comments: All TVs are relaying/broadcasting various dramas, Cinemas etc - Is it not applicable to your comments. Any thing could be criticised like - people waste their energy, time, money, education and health on a/c of Face Book, Twitter etc.
