Unless our so called batsmen learn how to leave / negotiate away moving balls, scoring decent runs would be a big question mark. It was surprising to watch even Virat Kohli was chasing the away moving ball. Though he had survived, the said ball could have been very well left. Patience pays. However it is evident that our players do not have patience to stay at the wicket. Immaturity cost the wicket for Pandya. Unless he shows character to remain and play shots in tune with the requirement of test standard he may find it difficult to retain his place. Probably comparing him as the all rounder with the greats, it appears to be a pressure on him and uncalled for at the early stage of his career. Lots of improvements required on the part of all the players without exception.

Pandya is a find from T2O.Flamboyant batsmen will have success rate 20% in test match, so he needs to be guided but he has to follow basic grammars of cricket though he is talented.
