This Huffing&Puffing towards 300 totals(only1/4)by Ravi's boys makes for dismal viewing,though the Wanderers'Test is yet to be played.Let them play 8 batters(rahul behind stumps),Bhuvi,Jadeja and UmeshYadav(known for reckless big-hitting,rarely when it comes)to stand a chance at Jo'berg.
Look at the pathetic team groomed by MSD and compare the same with the team groomed by Dada which helped MSD to win two world cups. Have some_Sh@me guys..

the players of two world cups were mostly msd introduced players...very few from dada team...in fact in t20 wc there were no sachin dravid laxman srinath etc...
It is very simple. The only way Indian sportsperson can be world beaters is by making cricket teams for other countries play on dust bowls of India. Cricketers/ Commentators/ Experts/ Match referees from countries like SA, Australia, England, New Zeland etc. pamper Indian Spectators/ Players for the huge money involved which they anyway won't get playing cricket in their countries. They are also confident that there are many other sporting arenas where they have global super stars, who can bolster their national pride in sporting area. We, the Indians have been always mad about cricket, which has stunned the growth of other sports like Football and events like Athletics or Swimming. No wonder we, sitting in front of TV, getting excited about Cricket are labelled as Diabetes Capital of the World. Jai Hind.

Beginning of this downside started when Kumble was denied the extension as a coach. Sastry may be good at man management but look at what happened with such a wonderful management skill is on place. It also requires strategy, technicality of the game and more than all, shrewd cricketing thinking that Kumble has and Kohli let it go due to his ego taller than his stature. Discipline that brought by Kumble was an essential commodity in overseas pitches. Hopefully our players learn from here to get better at the games outside subcontinent.

The difference was in the fielding. We lost a number of catches whereas they hardly dropped any. Plus even their ground fielding was better. Their wicketkeeper standing upto the wickets to fast bowlers made a difference.
It's the same story repeated again. IN 2011, we had the best possible batting line up and lost all 4 Tests in England. A few months later all four in Australia. The only difference was that there was not much media and TV hype about the team and the public was not told that "this is the best team ever".
The Indian team is just not good enough on challenging pitches !
That the Indian media has been hyping the capabilities of this team sky high and that the captain has swallowed all that hype and been strutting about as though he and his team are world beaters is another matter !

It is high time BCCI keep the media hype in cold storage and do something constructive to produce quality players who can play on all type of pitches and conditions.Fortunately we in India have all climatic zones and can prepare all type of playing conditions.More thrust to be given to test matches even if it is at cost of IPL & T20s.Players from junior level must be made to play in such trying conditions. I think BCCI has enough resources and money,a desire must be there to make Team India really the best in the world..
