REason?

it does not involve any rocket science. We all know piches in overseas assist seamers. When did India team had a best of good fast bowlders? at least a pair of them?? and you will want to win the matches.

The in late sixties and seventies we had one Gavaskar and one Vishwanath. In the late 70s and 80s we had Vengsarkar, along with Gavaskar. in 80s and 90s we still had these batsmen around alongwith the allrounder Kapil Dev. Who else we had to score? Occassional glipses by a Chetan Chouhan, Solkarand the likes. This was the only occassion when India toured with quality pace bowlers and at least two good batsmen in Kohli and Rehane. You dropped out Rahane. It would have been an opportuity for India, both of them were in the playing 11 with occssaional burst from Hardik. India was undone by its team selection by Shashtri and Kohli.

Struggle /Struggle and Struggle
by Manoj Panja on Jan 18, 2018 07:47 PM

Those who are in touch with Indian cricket performance in abroad other than Asian countries were knowing the outcome of this series at least 7 months before when BCCI accepted Kumble's resignation and selected Ravi Shastri as coach through backdoor. To prove their decision correct arranged test series with weak Srilanka. Still there was hiccup when they lost 50 over match at Dharamsala with a clear message of this bunch of batsmen are not capable of playing in fast pitch. BCCI are deceiving Indian cricket lovers. These struggle will continue unless BCCI top people with least knowledge of cricket are removed.

STRUGGLING IN SA
by Moses Joseph on Jan 18, 2018 07:41 PM

The captain gets annoyed and bangs the ball on mother earth's face and loses 25 % match fee. Coolness will be dignified and the team members will be calm. If players do not perform well (second innings), it is selectors' problem and not the captain's. Media need not question the captain!
