2nd Test India vs SA

It is very easy to say like this for Bumrah, but the fact of matter is that India has allowed the 2nd Test also to slip out of its Hands. Had Indian batters showed some temperament on crease they would have certainly got some 70-100 run lead, but it was only Virat who showed very high level of skills to take India close to SA score otherwise it would have over by this time and to make matter worst despite gets a very good start in SA 2nd inn. Indian bowlers could not deliver again and now they are only assuming to happen good for them.
It is the team selection which is not good & i feel Shikhar should have been selected in place of Rahul and in place of Bumrah Bhuvnesh kumar should be their in Team as he better that Bumrah.

Well said. India had really done well to restrict SA to 335 after a promising start by them (148-2). India should have grabbed this opportunity and should have batted with purpose of scoring about 400 plus as there was nothing much in the wicket for SA pace bowlers. To compound the matters, Pujara and Pandya got themselves run out foolishly.Coming back to selection, how one can omit Bhuvneshwar who has taken six wickets in first Test match besides batting reasonably well in both the innings. Further, he is much better fielder compared to Shami or Ishant. The omission of Rahane is also strange! Rahane is much better batsman than Rohit outside Indian sub-continent and also an excellent fielder. I can not recollect any past instance when a touring team had dropped its Vice-Caption in first test match of the Test Series!
