Yes, Virat & co. after raising lot of expectations at home couldn't deliver but still it was an absorbing match for sure unlike the boring SL home series wins. While our batting failed but the bowling overall did meet our expectations especially in the 2nd innings learning from the first innings offer of run feast which in a way left SA off the hook. On batting considering that SA too failed with the bat fact remains conditions were very tough to suddenly adapt fully for the visitors and home side advantage perhaps helped SA better India. But Pandya's proved truly a game changer to make a match out of hopeless situation which otherwise would have been all over in 2 days! Unbelievable to see him play Sachin like leg flicks, defence...as also the Chris Gayle’s T20 big hits!He bowled well too in the 2nd innings. Now he has to learn to be consistent and so deserves to be treated like an all-rounder to be given more chance. What is the learning and the strategy next ?One, The openers have to give a good start for batting to come good. Experienced Muralui Vijay has to shed his tentativeness and play confidently or else he stands no chance on such wickets. Dhavan too needs to be patient and I feel both can be given one more chance. Next, given the wickets are all going to be bowler friendly four bowlers in the current form should be enough but have to bowl tight line and length not giving away 4s every over.

I have cable connection for Star SPORTS but matches between SA and India are telecast on SONI TV.After watching 1st Test match I have decided not to go for Soni sport channel.No use of watching these tests.India made doctored spin pitches and SA has made doctored Green/fast pitches.No real contest.Better not to watch these test matches.
As the wickets there are bouncy and the current breed only played mohallah cricket like IPL. They are not technically sound. Rohit Sharmas 200 runs on Indian wickets are like 2 runs in SA
