Arrogance accepting defeat now
by Jayaprakash Balan on Feb 17, 2018 07:55 PM

South Africa was so over confident and arrogant taking India lightly that they have learnt their lessons and now accepting defeat. Else, it was disgusting to see that a not so best bowler like Philander's arrogance after winning the first two tests that they will sweep the ODIs also. Amla has to be graceful in accepting that they did not play well because he himself was seen batting very poorly and all his experience seem to have gone zero while facing Chahal and Kuldeep. Same was the over confidence of senior players like Du plesis and De Villers and even new comers who could not play a single over properly. Indians are now rulers in world cricket and no team should take them lightly. This is a lesson for England also whom we are playing. If they do not seriously prepare themselves, they too will be thrashed badly by Indians. And South Africa, if they are going to be the same team and same players with the same approach and attitude then definitely they are not even going to reach semis of World Cup. SA team should better prepare themselves very seriously especially their youngsters who are not even at the level of playing good international cricket.
