Full credit to Rohit to turn out to be India's one of the best batsman in the world. There is no doubt he is the most talented batsman and has put in lot of efforts to improve on batting. But without taking any credit from all the Indian batsmen, wondering would they have been able to shine so much had they faced the best bowlers in the world like the ones Sachin faced. There are hardly even a single good bowler apart from Dale Styne in today's world cricket who can really be called a class bowler as well a strong effective bowler who is a treat to watch and who can trouble even the best batsman.

Jimmy Anderson is as good or better than Dale Steyn. But he is also getting past his prime. There is no way Rohit Sharma would survive 10 overs of Anderson or Steyn in their peak in overseas conditions in Test cricket.
Sorry friends He was and will remain flat track bully..Once in a blue moon..he scores overseas against quality attack..He remains overhyped talent..Can never win a world cup of his own like yuvraj did.

Rohit need not score triple century and let him consistently contribute with the bat and that is more than sufficient at the top of the order against all teams not against Srilanka or so. He is a class batsman no doubt but his defence has to improve and be careful in shot selection initially like what Kohli does in the beginning of the innings

100% agree. He's a flat track bully in limited over cricket. He can't even bully the best bowlers in Test cricket even if the pitch is flat. In ODIs he has to face maximum 4-5 overs of the best bowlers.
