He bores the audience with his show off of so called cricketing knowledge, loyalty for pakistan cricket and an unusual ascent of english commentary.

Loklegal
Sanjay Manjrekar as commentator
by Loklegal on Feb 08, 2018 05:00 PM

His analysis is very poor just because he speaks average English does not qualifies him as cricket commentator and moreover he is overrated. Manjrekar's praising of Kedar Jadhav does not makes sense as Jadhav is a mediocre crickets, he is in the team because of completing Pandya's unfinished quota of 10 overs. We only have Gavaskar can Manjekar, the Hindi commentary is the worst you can hear. So one can ask where is the talent?

KEEPING DISTANCE FROM THE TEAM ?
by damodaran mohan on Feb 06, 2018 04:31 PM

He is a gentleman commentator alright but somehow his claim that he keeps distance from the players looks a bit overstretched. There have been instances when one gets an impression he is in touch with with his Mumbai pal Shastri's or the team's views and conveying a message to appropriate person.

Rama Ganesh
run out expert!!!
by Rama Ganesh on Feb 06, 2018 01:29 PM

A good cricketer but he will remembered as someone who excelled in running himself out. Sadly, he never realized this weakness in him and kept blaming others.
As a commentator, hope he doesn't run himself out!!!

A Little bit of luck would have......
by vr hari on Feb 06, 2018 01:01 PM

His start was great, super performances in 1989 against Pak, with Hundred and a double. Then a few injuries against the WI kept him out of action. Then i guess, bad Dressing room politics kept him demotivated....and then just faded away....
A little bit of luck would have got the best out of him.
