We the audience and cricket lovers from India are looking forward to see that our Indian cricket team will clinch the Test Series in the Australia on their home ground - in the New Year - 2019, we also hope that all the 11 selected players in the final test should play sincerely, without dropping catches, in the field, do batting well and cooperate with the captain in the game. Good Luck and Happy New Year to the Indian cricket team on the eve of New Year -2019.

Sydney, in all probability,
by piri on Dec 31, 2018 04:40 PM  | Hide replies

will continue the trend of the side winning the toss opting to bat first and going on to win the match !

If that happens, might as well decide the outcome after the toss itself rather than actually play out the match !

In recent times, the toss has proved not so important only in matches played on the seaming pitches of England, where India was routed 4-1 recently.

I sincerely hope that India lose the toss in Sydney and yet go on to win so that i get an opportunity to sp_it on your coal black ugly midget face. But coward that you are, you will disappear for a few days until India lose again where you will be spewing venom against India again. You are a very big lo_ser in life, 100% sure of it.

You really are a rakhshasa. You have used extremely racist & vile language. Just reflects your upbringing & your third rate family background.

all the more reason why they should dispense with the toss and let visiting sides choose what they want to do.

TOSS
by Shilpa Mehta on Dec 31, 2018 03:52 PM

Winning the toss & batting first is no doubt important , but Team India can beat HOME TIGERS AUS even batting second .

Like Team India won the test in recent ENG series batting second .

Team India can defeat AUS even if India bats second , but AUS cannot win batting second .

That's the difference between superior & inferior team .

Can AUS give FOLLOW ON to Team India in India ??

NO NEVER - - -

Whereas Team India would have easily given FOLLOW ON to AUS in Melbourne .

That's the difference between AUS & IND .

Sydney pitch is spin friendly
by baranikumar mahadevan on Dec 31, 2018 12:45 PM

But India has forgotten to play spin over the years. In fact we have struggled against Moeen, Swann, Panesar, and now Lyon. And our spinners have never been threatening on overseas pitches. The threat of spin ended with Kumble.

Yes, Ganguly,s India was certainly much strong than this Indian side as far as batting & spin bowling departments are concerned but this side is having all time best express bowling attack which actually making the differences in addition to non presence of Smith & Warner in Australian side. Nevertheless, it is very difficult for any side to face express attack of about 90 miles on continuous basis. Not only Bumra, Swamy & Ishant also sending quick deliveries with positive bounce to unsettle opposition. I have never seen such a quality fast bowling attack in Indian side. Hope the trio will continue to have the same. All the best to them for new year 2019.
