VIRAT WOULD LOOK TALLER CAPT. ACCEPTING GENUINE MISTAKES
by damodaran mohan on Dec 31, 2018 05:49 PM

All is well that ends well. More creditable for Virat &Co. is the turn around after the Perth debacle. As a batsman Virat Kohli is the no.1 in the world and by the time he retires he could be among the world’s all time greats. But surely he would like to be among the all-time great captains too like Sobers, Steve Waugbh....!That is possible only if he becomes a critic of himself accepting wrong decisions taken by him. Justifying wrong decisions taken by him like the one on not enforcing the ‘follow-on’ doesn’t help him become a great captain. I am sure he would not have slept the night before the 5th day and must have felt miserable when the match was delayed in the morning after due to rain. He has to be rational too to be the best Captain. Aus were bundled out for 151, the behavior of the wicket, intermittent rain forecast for next two days and the English type weather seen normally at MCG there was no way Virat could have anticipated Aus to score 400 plus runs following on to make them bat again and lose. In fact he failed to capitalize on the deadly bowling Rhythm Bumrah & co. were in to bundle them out under 151.Virat would have looked taller if only he had accepted that it was a genuine mistake and that now he is happy that it did not cost him the match.

India won 2 tosses out of 3

and 2 tests out of 3 !

Its victory in the first test despite winning the toss was far from convincing. Had Smith and Warner played in this series, it would certainly have been at least 2-1 now in Australias favour !

Which evidently means that Australia minus its 2 best batsmen is an even match for the supposedly world no 1 test side - India !

People like u will never be happy, even if India had won despite the presence of Smith and Warner, you would have some other reason to undermine India's victory. So, get well soon

AGAIN , SMITH - WARNER - - - I AM FED UP
by Shilpa Mehta on Dec 30, 2018 05:10 PM

Since from begining of this series , I have been hearing SMITH - WARNER , SMITH - WARNER .

Does HOME TIGERS Australia's bench strength is so weak that they does not have suitable replacement of these two ??

As if AUS plays with NINE players in their absence .

What will happen if these two gets injured OR Rested OR Retire tomorrow ??
Will AUS lose every game in their absence ??

They are not very GREAT players . AUS would have been defeated by even BIGGER MARGIN if Smith - Warner have played this Melbourne test .

INDIA IS ALSO MISSING ASHWIN , PANDYA &
PRITHVI SHAW BUT NEVER MADE SO MUCH OF HUE
& CRY LIKE SMITH - WARNER .

a genuine belief that it can become the first one to win a test series down under provided of course it wins the toss in Sydney !!

The toss has been so hugely significant in this series - and more so for the Indians !

Which means that Australia - minus its 2 best batsmen - is evenly matched with the full strength Indian team !

ha ha ha the cowards are at it again! Aus means only 2 players rest are waste bodies. If Virat had scored a hundred in the second innings like he usually does Aus would have faced a even more humiliating defeat. So its India minus the mighty Virat beating a 2nd division team

Indian Victory

Ricky Ponting for castigating the slow century of Pujara has to learn some cricketing tips which eluded him during his cricketing career and now has been haunting him on his reviews as an cricketing experts. Typically as an Australian, these experts fail to appreciate match winning indian performances and grope for opportunities to heap scorn and contempt on them.
