and most Indian cricket fans were over the moon, believing for a moment that this Indian team has finally established its "world conquering status " given to it by much of the Indian media.
But, just as they were floating up to the moon came this shocking realisation that the pitch at the MCG has just crumbled overnight and that 15 wickets fell on day 3 against just 7 on the preceding 2 days !
Oh, what a sobering thought !
Whoever has been batting first in this series has been getting a big advantage and whoever has been winning the toss has been opting to bat first !
And to think that this Australian team, without its 2 best batsmen, has been repeatedly dubbed by the Indian media itself as one of the weakest in history!!
