Home tigers Aus exposed
by Srinivas R on Dec 10, 2018 01:47 PM  | Hide replies

Home tigers Aus exposed. For the first time in History Aus didn't had the support of umpires due to the DRS otherwise 4 decisions would have gone against India which was sufficient from moving from winning position to loosing position.

Yet, India - hyped as *all conquering* by the Indian media and playing on the most docile batting friendly pitch in Australia and facing a side without its best two batsmen - could just squeak through !

After the final Aus wicket fell, Virat Kohlis eyes did not bulge out as much they do so often !

Perhaps he was busy heaving a big sigh of relief !

Home tigers Aus exposed without the support of umpires. The DRS helped India avoiding getting fooled by Aus tricks. In the past all series Aus used to win with the help of umpires. Its a great win in a fairly played game.

BUT WINNING 20-20 & ODI SERIES IS MORE IMPORTANT-- ANY
by Shilpa Mehta on Dec 10, 2018 12:08 PM

It seems Home Tigers Australia's tailenders learned something from Indian Tailenders .
From 85 for 5 , Team India scored 250 in first innings , similarly AUS tailenders also scored some
runs in second innings .

And moreover , Team India would have won by even bigger margin if Smith - Warner would have been there .

NOTHING GREAT IN SMITH - WARNER .
As such Warner is 20-20 & ODI player .

Nothing at all
by piri on Dec 10, 2018 11:55 AM  | Hide replies

for the perpetually celebrating Virat Kohli to put on his usual open mouthed and bulging eyed performance !

The Indian team, despite the advantage of winning the toss and not having to face Australias best two batsmen and the gigantic hype created by the Indian media about the *all conquering Indian team*, just about squeaked through !

That the next match is in Perth where Mitchell Starc and Hazelwood are very likely to prove how exactly they are different from the over rated Bumrah would be small consolation for the equally over rated Indian captain !

If, as this report exults, the Australian batting is exposed for its brittleness, so is the Indian batting !

The Indians are playing overseas. The Australians are playing at home. Thats the difference. Nothing prevented ,itchell Starc and Hazelwood to bowl well in this match. In home conditions, India is very difficult to beat, it must be true for Australia too but this test match has proven otherwise. Bumrah is not playing against Australia, he has plavyed against all teams. He is very young in his test career. Let me have the kind of experience that Mitchell Starc and Hazelwood has and then lets compare. I am sure he will be better any day. Australia needs to think about their batting more as not more than 2 players crossed 50 in both the innings. India needs to do well in their batting department from lower order. Great win by India !!!
And yes, critics like you are always there, who do not know what to comment on

adding to your point though , india has to take a positive from the fact that our bowlers matched theirs and bettered them taking 20 wickets, so if perth is tough for our bastman so is it for theirs..

The fact that India, holding 18 percent of the world population but more than one third of the worlds grindingly poor people (having Less than 2 USD income per day as per the UN) is a fact, you moron !

And poverty stricken or lower middle class Indians paying heavily to watch the Indian cricket team and others play the dumb as dumb can be IPL matches is also a fact, you moron !

Australia vs India, 1st Test, Day 5
by susarla suryaprakasam on Dec 10, 2018 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

Ashwin is a spent force, take new variants. a a time, when Lyon could take 6 wickets on day 4, on 5th day, poor performance by Aswin all the way. Further, 2 spinners are required for all purposes, that too when Indian fast bowling was never ever a match winner.

Ashwin looked like a spent force. Even the tailrdnder could play his 35 o era without as much being bothered. Reminds me of Boycott s favourite phrase, even my mother could have faced him left handed without fear"
