I remember , ENG players said before this game :

We have PLANS for Kohli - -

What where those plans ??

To allow him to score CENTURIES in both innings ??

POOR ENG

DON'T GIVE UP ON US & WE WILL NOT GIVE UP EITHER - VIRA

Till now I was WRONG .

ENG ARE NOT EVEN HOME TIGERS .

But ENG has stretched too far : I didn't
expect them to cross 200 mark .

BIGGEST MISTAKE :

WINNING THE TOSS & OPTING TO FIELD FIRST . POOR ROOT . I said this on day one itself .

The biggest lesson...
by Radhakrishnan on Aug 22, 2018 08:23 AM

The biggest lesson for fans of the game in India is the redundancy of the 'experts' whose objectivity is questionable. Players of repute of the past (some of them survived because of politics) now earn a living by doing TV commentary. The comments during the second Test at the Lords were outright negative and 'demoralising' to the team. They are probably oblivious to the fact that most viewers press the 'mute' button while watching the telecast. But that comes at the cost of missing the 'match atmosphere' with the noise of the crowd. I wish they provide an innovation where there is an additional audio option named "commentary mute". The viewers will be better off for it!
