Till the day we don't think that our pacers would, should and could win our matches, we shall go on with spinners and not push the opposition to lose.
See it this way, fast bowlers attack the batters while spinners wait for the batters to play them wrong way. For spinners to be effective it takes at least 40-50 overs for the ball to get a hold and by that time, the opponents are almost always consolidate their position in the match.
Only when our pacers are given the responsibility to hurry-up the opposite batsmen on the pitch as well in returning to the pavilion, shall be every dream of dominating in the tests...
Till then, we won't change our pitches nor our batsmen their footwork or our fast bowlers in the making, their physique and performance.
Till then, forget about establishing our dominance especially overseas.
The great Ravi Shastri failed to assess the pitch; at Edgbaston Kuldip was left out and Pujara. At Lord's where India befell to seam India included Kuldip instead of Umesh. In South Africa he left out Rahane. He doesn't need to answer these and when does, does from another planet saying bogus. India have paid for these mistakes heavily.
