Actually, the Pak team did much better in English conditions and drew their series 1-1. Their seam bowling was superior and batsmen showed guts to fight it out .
both created instability in team by discussing openly about chops and chances. when dawan,vijay,karthik,rahul,ashwin,pandya,rahane's place is debated and it created doubt among players that whether they are going to be in team or not in next test ? how can they play ? Dada is the best captain who will stick to his palyers and get performance. this kohli and ravi is useless who talks more and do less. ok, what happened to kohli's batting in second test? Please throw away ravi, team will get better.
It is suggested that BCCI need to introduce payment for players based on their performance in each match by fixing minimum run, minimum wicket to take, etc. to get their money. Paying so much money for scoring ZERO anybody will do so. We don't require specialists who call themselves only in India. They are playing for country. No office goers take their wife to office daily. BCCI should take a serious view on this matter. Each player has gone to represent the country and not for holiday with family at BCCI cost.
Except for Virat Kohli all are not even worth to play test cricket. Vijay, Karthik, Rahane, should be sacked permanently. Fast bowlers should understand from Englishmen how to bowl in the right areas and should not give too many runs. BCCI please wake up. Otherwise India's reputation will be spoiled.

Unfortunately there is no one better than Rahane, Dhawan, VIjay etc and so we can't change them. We just have to live with this and hope they will come good some day.IT's a miserable collective psychologicaland technical failure

None of them in the current team have the technical skills to play on a swinging & seaming pitch. It is proved time and again. We lost in Australia in 2014-14 2-0, we lost in England in 2014 3-1, 2013 SA 3-0, 2018 SA 2-1. We forget these losses and start enjoying IPL and making players stars based on their IPL performance.
Indian team lacked skills in batting to face seam and swing and at the same time Indian bowlers lacked the skill to swing and seam the ball. Hence a better team won the match.
