The question is can Imran succeed as the PM of Pakistan,as he did as the capt of the Pak Cricket teem? The answer is no,because the shots are called by the Army there and not by the capt/PM.
Imran was more a fast bowler then all rounder. Kapil played better inning as best batsman in bowlers lineup. Manoj Prabhkar was better fast bowler for India for his swings.Ion Bathom was realy best all-rounder for a short span of Carrier.
Imran was an extraordinary allrounder of that era.But definitely he was a bowling allrounder.Kapil Dev was a sober player whereas Imran was an aggresive one.
kapil dev was good...no doubt...but imran khan was a better allrounder and captain than kapil dev...most indians of course would of course not like to admit that...

Kapil Dev was definitely a more talented batsman but he played for the sheer love of the game. He never played for records except at the end of his career when he wanted to cross Hadlee's wickets & become the leading wicket taker then.

He was not a better alrounder, but a better bowler than Kapil and of course far more better caption than Kapil. Kapil was a shade ahead in batting when compare with Imran.

imran garnered more respect than kapil throughout his career. kapil was enigma for winning cup of 1983 n benson n hedges
start of the career , imran was a ordinary bowler. once he started tampering ball and using drugs ( at that time there were no doping tests in cricket), imran hugely improved performance as a bowler. according to imran's team mates, he used different types of drugs to better his bowling carrer.
