Hardik Pandya, Tissera Perera, and now retired Shahid Afridi all belong to same category. They play one special knock once in a year and try to survive in the team as bowlers.
If Ind want to win 1 Test match, just replace Rahul, Rahane & Hardik with Pujara, Rohit and Kuldeep Yadav...Ind can find some balance for resisting Eng bowling..
Hardik has a lot of talent, but his commitment has a question mark against it. It is Rahane and Kartik who need replacement. Except for his vociferous support to Ashwin from behind the stumps, he did nothing to stake his claim. Rahane has a huge problem with consistency.

Right,he is nowhere near Stokes,but this man has temperament and talent,so its the duty of BCCI and Hardik himself to go for intense training and transform into a player even better than stokes.If this is achieved,given his age,India can have a good allrounder/pacer who can serve our country for atlease 10/12 years.
