The Indian team also needs a few changes to be made: wanting to have a left-right combination is alright as long as both the players are in form and scoring runs. This is not happening. Junk this approach and dump Shikar Dhavan. Get Vijay to open with Rahul. Pujara needs to come back and stonewall swing bowlers. Umesh Yadav can be benched and Kuldeep Yadav could be in the eleven. Sooner than later it will be useful to reconsider the need to continue with Dinesh Kartik.

though both been waste in both the inning, from which angle you found vijay better than dhawan. rahane must be replaced with pujara. rahul should open along with dhawan. as vijay seems struggling with new ball he can come at 4 or 5. not sure about bhumrah's injury but if he is fit he would definitely replace umesh.
