Tailenders in those days in test matches used, at times , longhandle batting to score runs. Now that is the trend in some T20 matches. As a opener Sunil Narine used the technique with more perfection. Kudos to his bold hittings. Winning the toss and electing to bowl first provides the luxury of knowing the target and provide scope for the team batting second to plan their course of batting. That is what has happened in all the first three matches.

T20 is 50% gamble 50% skill. Whoever had thought Nitish Rana would dispose off two most dangerous batsmen of todays world cricket. These gambles sometime pay off and sometime they don't. Narin's bowling skill has declined because his old action had to be changed which has taken away most of the mystery part of his bowling.

It appears that Sunil has developed a fancy for hitting against RCB.He is being used as batsman against his bowling skill which is on decline due to adverse comments for bowling action. His use as a opener exposes the bankruptcy of batting skill in KKR.It may be fatal in long run as the energy used in batting skill is negatively correlated in decline of bowling skill. This justifies the law of conservation of energy as the plus on batting is eroded in the minus of bowling.
