This asking for reduction is a clear sign that Australian cricket is allowing its players to cheat and get away. A one match ban is handed to a playing captain for slow over rate by his bowlers; which is just an aberration compared to the cheating done by these 3 players. Weeping and shedding tears cannot undo the crime committed.
By asking for reduction in ban period they are exhibiting their mentality once again to continue with cheating. If the game wants to regain its place such players should be banned for life time. The player's weeping in public was just a show to get sympathy.
