It was the final Match. Nobody believed beating West Indies. They were Cricket giants at the time.We were watching match live on TV. Those days hardly few houses only having Good Television sets. Watching in the friend\'s house was great fun also watching in big group is another fun. India got low score. Srikant scored highest of 38 among other players. His seven fours and one sixer was a splendid. Beating West Indies with a score of 183 was difficult task. Since they were already twice world cup winner. West Indian player never imagined India would beat them in the final. It was collective response of Kapil\'s team Madan, Sandhu, Mohinder ,Kris Srikant and others carefully handled the situation like fielding and the bowling made history. Full credit goes to Kapil Dev.
