Pranav Dhanawade who at the age of 15 cored 1009 runs in an innings will be announcing his retirement into obscurity by BCCI as the star son has risen. Hope he meets the same fate as Rohan Sunil Gavaskar. Incidentally Pranav is also under 19. Anybody please update me on his career progression and if media has spent any reams of paper on other budding teenager.

Irrespective of Arjun Tendulkar being selected or not selected there is no way Pranay Dhanawale could have been selected as he has barely scored any runs since making those 1000 runs against a bunch of novice kids 4-5 years his junior with square boundaries being only 30 meters !!! Its not Pranay but non selection of players like Shoaib Siddique, Varun Lavande and Suved Parkar which emerge as glaring omissions .

Fully agree. Hope the selection is based on merit and other deserving youngsters are not deprived the chance.
