Why can't Sreesanth play for another country ??
by JAAGRUK INSAAN on Oct 23, 2017 12:34 PM

Technically, he will have to obey Indian Court of law, as long as he is citizen of INDIA .

If he is wishing to play for another country, he should obtain citizenship of that country first and then only dream of playing for another country, off course, only after leaving India !
That may be the technical reason for court objecting for his playing for another country, while being an Indian citizen.

No general public can approve with the BCCI's stand on the matter due to the following:

It was prima facie agreed that the Rajasthan Royal owners were engaged in betting and were banned for two years. It is said that when the owner itself was engaged in betting, how a member can be kept aside from it. Hence it is generally to be understood that the entire team would have been involved in the act. If somebody declines to obey their order, he would have been kicked out of the team. Hence the owner should have been banned for life and the punishment to the members would have been light, i.e. for one year or two as the case may be. Hence in this case Rajasthan Royal, who were doing all manipulation, was in only because they are wealthy and the poor team members were punished. It is purely injustice.

Similarly is the case with Chennai Team, wherein the manipulators were awarded with a small punishment and let them go because they are wealthy. The former Indian captain, though involved, was set free.

In toto, BCCI is an organization, run by the wealthy and very much biased. The people of India for certain have no trust on the said organization and it is not run on a democratic way.

Hence the said organization should be dissolved and filled with personnel who are respected by the people of this country.

Sreesanth if he wants to play abroad or for another nation should be free to do so but it is another matter that the BCCI will not give him the permission to do so. All participating countries boards are authorized to decide who will & not play in any league or country. That would be the catch for Sree or else he will have to give up his Indian citizenship to play for any adopted nation. I doubt whether he wants to do that so he has a real conundrum to sort out.

The article gives numerous examples of cricketers playing for another country but they either had citizenship of that country like Wessels\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' mom was Australian and Pietersen\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s mom was English OR Hick who had to live 10 years in Eng to get citizenship. Sreesanth will have to seek citizenship elsewhere and relinquish Indian passport. Until then he will be barred.

So, where is the 'filth' in the article? Could you check the below link and say again if you meant this:

Have to agree with
'Jai Ho's comments. What is the filth in the article? Do you know the meaning of filth? Just because one has access to the internet and knows a smattering of English does not mean it needs to be thrown all around.

Please, counter an opinion with another opinion in a civilized manner instead of replying with 'filth"
