If you knew the condition of Assam and NER, you would understand that a shameful act is impossible by local Assamese people who take pride in hosting such a big international event. This is a law and order issue and miscreants are none but Bangladeshi illegal Muslim immigrants who have flooded Assam now. They are supported by Govt. who is providing identities like voter ids, ration card etc. to them to make them their vote bank. Only in Assam itself Bangladeshi illegal Muslim immigrants population have crossed 1.5Cr. now. Whole demography of NER has changed with local population becoming only a minority and is leaving in fear now with so much of crimes taking place everyday in a city like Guwahati itself.
