lets see both of them in SA. the are not performers made by BCCI on tailor made pitches for them.
Ashwin have taken 300 wickets, 87 % on indian soil pitches especially made for him. He can even take 1000 wickets. Virat can also score 50,000 runs on indian soil.

It shows mere hatred agst an Indian Player who is topping among all bowlers in the world. Aswin bowled 1766 overs in India & took 216 wickets while playing away in 839 overs got 84 wickets. He has topped better than Muthia Muralidharan, Shane Warne and even Anil Kumble. In every 50th wicket he was ahead of many of the world class bowlers.

Warne and Murali have poor averages in India...47 and 40 per wkt! Does that mean they are not performers? Don't judge consistent performers on one aspect alone. There are 20 other aspects where they prove critics wrong.

With time, he will improve his wicket taking in Aus. He has not played in NZ and only one test in SA. He has a fair record in Eng and WI. Kumble too wasn't effective in 1999-00 series in Aus but outstanding in 2003-04 series (23 wickets in 3 tests). Bhajji was successful v Aus in India but failure in Aus. But still I would rate Bhajji to be a great bowler. Kumble, I don't have words for his fighting spirit.

You cannot deride like that, Matt Hayden also has his highest score against Bangladesh. That does not mean he is not an achiever

FYI, Hayden 380 v Zim, not Ban. But agree to your point.
