Simply brilliant and my hearty congrats to Ashwin for the very important milestone even dwarfing the records of the famous Indian spin quartet. Getting 300 wkts in just 54 matches coming so early in his career we wish he becomes the maximum wicket taker too in the next 5-6 yrs time he can easily play. Ashwin should thank Jadeja too for his able support from the other hand w/o which it should have been difficult and the two-some operating in tandem is very critical according to me even for the overseas tour. Another factor helping Ashwin in recent times is the fierce Indian pace attack never been before. In fact this was one of the reasons why Indian spinners were not as successful in overseas conditions. In any bowling attack the initial breakthrough and pressure building makes great difference for the spinners to take on from there. Thus I feel India must maintain 3 pacers & 2 spinners attack for overseas too for effectiveness. Using 4 pacers will not be of much use for India as the law of diminishing returns will start given at best we have just 2 pacers of world standard. In the current Ashes series at the mecca of pace Gabba, Natha Lyon was the star bowler not the pacers !So we must show full confidence on our strength--spin. Home or overseas.
