Kohli should have declared early on to try for a win in the recently concluded Indo-SL match. 200 lead would have been enough given the time limit. He delayed it may be for his century. If that is the case, then he is another Indian like others trying to build self records w/o giving importance to the country winning.
Well, it looks surprising that Virat Kohli is 5th in the ICC rankings, when actually, he should be the only player in the first in all 3 formats of cricket, test match, ODI and T20. Don't think there has been and there is and there will be any player in near future to come who can be so successful in all 3 formats and that sorely due to his attitude, aggressiveness and more than anything his skill, talent and commitment to the game and above all he is enjoying the game in which he is a master. Even Sachin, the great, was not a great captain and world over its always seen that when a good player becomes a captain, his game suffers, whereas Virat is hugely successful as captain and when he is the captain he is more successful as a player. What a combination? With him at the helm of affairs, don't think India can lose any match or series or any cup atleast for another 5 years with no good player seen in any team world over with such star power and star charisma. Just like Sachin, he is such an exciting player on the ground. Wow ! Kohli ! Tussi great ho !! Its to the luck of batsman and bowlers that he is not into bowling else even there, he would have set a benchmark which others would find it difficult to reach.
