(contd.)Another veteran of 10 yrs of IPL on the wane for sure appears to be the sardar, Bhajji getting dropped from the play offs altogether! The way he has been bowling in this IPL mechanically like a bowling machine w/o much of enthusiasm with no expression on the face clearly points to his waning career. And perhaps could be the reason for the team management preference for the young Karan Sharma bowling with gusto to take wickets!

Smith knew that Bumrah/Malinga will bowl in the death and they have been performing very well in this tournament. He should have scored quickly against other bowlers rather than leaving it till the last for Dhoni who had been inconsistent and not in best of touches. Quite clear that Smith was the fixer

reason is because dhoni did not like being thrown out of the captaincy.if you remember pune was in 7th position last year with dhoni being captain.so he was envious of smith

Yeah so why was he helping SMith out on the field...it was there for even the general public to see that he was helping out plus reports quoting Pune team members and commentators saying that Dhoni was very supportive..Not performing well would have proved to be personally degrading to Dhoni as in next year's auction his value will go down considering that he is about to retire. So he will always try to give his best on the field to maintain his market value

last year dhoni was the captain,he lead from the front and ensured pune the last berth.clearly he was not to be blamed because how much he can do when the remaining ten are useless.this year they had a new captain and the team went to the finals in which dhoni single handedly ruined the chances of rps.but goenka and smith should be blamed for this years loss because how much can dhoni do if all others fail.he is the best finisher in the whole world and is a world class test,sorry odi,sorry t20 player

In this entire tournament, Smith was the main scorer in almost all their matches...Dhoni played well in only 2 ...so Smith was in much better form and also the leader, he could and should have scored quickly knowing that Dhoni was not in the best of touches and inconsistent
