With due respect to Mr Vinod Rai led COA it must be said that COA should not be doing anything that will look to be weakening any principled stand of BCCI vis-a-vis ICC. COA must appreciate that BCCI is not fighting for just loss of a big chunk of revenue alone but also the unjust and unilateral way ICC has sidelined BCCI from the governance model too !On the one hand ICC wants revenue generated by BCCI to compensate the losses in revenue for whatever their internal reasons of mismanaged cricket boards like Pakistan,WI,SA, ZIM etc. on the other hand ICC completely sidelines BCCI from the governance model to not have any say in the decision making bodies on administrative and financial matters! Democratization in place of Big three concept of management is Ok but how can on the one hand the cricketing superpower like India be totally sidelined and on the other they are required to foot the bill for others ?India certainly has the duty to help out upcoming cricketing nations like AF, Ireland etc.. but how India is responsible for financial viability of other equal Boards like Pak, WI etc.? Simply ridiculous. Certainly in the interest of cricket a reasonable settlement acceptable to both BCCI and ICC should be attempted and experienced BCCI should know better than COA who are new to in the field. Thus COA must take care not to force BCCI into compromising on its legitimate rights and interest to ICC that is going to hurt both financially as well as administratively.

Well said, BCCI should not give up its rights even if that ends up in non-participation in Champion Trophy. ICC and other boards will come around. COA and SC should understand the real arguments of BCCI members and their experience of dealing such situations in the past. ICC is trying to take advantage of changed situation of BCCI administration.
