Earlier Indian & Foreign Commentators were telling - Keep your Eyes on The Bouncer or Short Ball - Indian Players used to take their Eyes off it and get Hit on Helmet,
Shoulder, Hands, Chest, Abdomen and other Body parts.
In this Image - KL Rahul has his eyes Set Firmly on the Ball, but Mistimes it & plays the Wrong shot and gets caught !!
This was really the chance for Rahul to fill in for KOhli in a big way . The pull stroke he attempted was to a ball about 3 feet wide of the off stump and he was nowhere in position. Most unfortunate mistake at a critical juncture for team India.

You are absolutely right. The moment Rahul decided to fill in for Kohli, he did the very thing Kohli does. Get out cheaply.
