So Tigers Prevail
by Jose Sucorinho Antao on Mar 07, 2017 10:17 PM

I must admit that my earlier comments that the Indian Cricket team players were useless was in bad taste. It must have been the stage where the cats were in a sleepy stage. But just like cats have the ability to turn from a docile stage to a ferocious stage so did the Indian Cricket team sprang on to the opposition and secured victory.

We knew if we got anything over 150, we had a chance'

CHANCE ?? NO NO - - -

I was sure 150 was enough for home tigers AUS in fourth innings .

I fact , Team India should have declared the innings as soon as target reached 150 .

Even 188 was not needed - -

Why to unnecessarily make poor Australians field & sweat in that scorching sun ??

And what if you declare at 150 and are defeated by the opponents ? The captain who is on the scene is the best judge to decide whatever way he want to. Garfield Sobers once declare their inning against England and he paid heavy price for his overconfident.

Mehta-ji, in the next match each team will declare at 150, exactly. The team who fails to reach 150, will lose. Is this ok for your kind of cricket understanding ? Thanks.
