It is no rocket science that one area that needs improvement is batting.We are confident given their potential Virat & co. will come good in batting this time around.However two other areas where Virat has to lead his side that will make the difference in seizing moments are catching/ground fielding and taking DRS review.The close-in fielding and catching has been found to be wanting not just in the last match but also in the last series too.Most important the close-in fielders standing around the bat have to be alert all the time from the point of delivery of the ball to the travel to the bat and to its trajectory from the bat irrespective of whether they are able to see the ball or not. Only then they can instinctively jump correctly towards the ball.To fielder' left it is easier to cup the ball but to his right side it is a bit difficult especially if the hand moves along the direction of the ball.When hand cup motion is against the ball chances of holding the catch are always better.On DRS of course the WK close in fielder,batter at non-striking end etc. play important role and Captain should never go by the Bowler's contention alone.
When Team India can easily defeat SA / ENG/ NZ teams in India - Then why not AUS ??
Before the start of the series against these teams people were saying that these teams are very strong & may beat India - -
And we all know how they were humiliated . AUS will also meet same fate .
And moreover , I can rate this AUS team equal to Team India only if they WHITEWASH Team India in India in any format of the game just as Team India clean swept them in their own backyard recently . NOT BEFORE THAT - -
Are very tough nut to break. India will find it difficult to save this series for sure. Only few fools like Shilpa Mehta think highly of this average Indian team
