Kumble's Exit
by sagar puthran on Jun 21, 2017 02:27 PM

It is difficult to find fault in Kumble\'s sytle of functioning. He is a disciplined and accomplished gentleman. His captaincy though few has been exemplary and remberable. What has complled him to resign, who is to blame.

Kohli is digging his own grave
by subramanya balaji on Jun 21, 2017 02:08 PM

If someone thinks he is not replaceable then he is wrong. There have been many legends that Indian cricket has produced, many had their best times and some have faded away too. Too much money, plethora of offers/ ad sponsors, his love life and may be his current form as captain is making him think that it will all be Kohli's way and no one should interfere in his style of functioning. This for sure may lead to his downfall sooner. I feel Rohit Sharma or Ajinkya Rahane would do a better job than Kohli as captain. Anil Kumble has done his best as a coach and must deserve accolades. There seems to be someone else also involved who may want to be a coach again or else why would Kohli alone behave this way.

what a down fall
by Arvind Koushik on Jun 21, 2017 01:52 PM

The BCCI is a only a money making institution.Kumble is the most respected player across cricket playing countries and if he has to resign because of one player it is unfortunate.however talented Virat may be, he will go the Kambli way thats for sure.
