Since the departure of Kapil Dev from the Indian Cricket team there has been no fast bowler in Team India of his calibre. Although we had Javagal Srinath, Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan, Ajit Agarkar, but there were not the perfect replacement for Kapilji who was not only a quality fast bowler but also a good batsman and a good fielder too, in simple words genuine all - rounder. The youngsters in India should not only try to emulate Sunil Gavaskar or Sachin Tendulkar but also should try to emulate kapil Dev. BCCI and other Cricket Associations around India should lay emphasis on producing quality fast bowlers along with quality batsman. If India's bowling department is strengthened than they will be like the West Indian Match winning team of the 1970's and 1980's which had top class batsman and top quality fast bowlers. Fielding - wise team India has improved very much in the past couple of years. It is the bowling that is our weakness.

Firstly hearty congratulations to the Pakistan team for coming victorious.
Secondly its ridiculus that both the electronic and the press media kindled the passions of the spectators for their rating and increase of circulations. They boost themselves they are the fifth pillar and custodians of democracy. Don't they have the responsibility of maintaining peace and tranquility among the public. Is it the responsibility of the government only.
And people the spectators are coming to the streets and without realising that winning and losing are part and parcel of the game behave unruly.
Will better sense prevail among the spectators and will that be allowed by the media.
Everyone is talking about the loss to Pakistan. No word about win over Pakistan in hockey that too a whitewash. Sorry state of our national game. Really good of them for still playing.
