Corrupt game totally driven by bookies. Nobody is playing for the nation, every player is a puppet, doing acting for money only. Peoples are just making fool of themselves by watching this puppet game driven by MNC's.

Sweet Victory for Pakistan
by Inzzy on Jun 19, 2017 10:08 AM  | Hide replies

The Pakistani boys were simply magnificent in all departments & far superior to the Indians who were woeful & ragged. Even Bangladesh would have put up a better fight against Pakistan. Now that Pakistan has broken the shackles of defeat in an ICC tournament (though they have thrashed & bruised India before in the Champions Trophy) the World Cup is not far away when these boys can give India a real hiding & break that ridiculous jinx. Good snub by Pakistan for being left out of IPL.

lacklustre play
by swaminathankt kt on Jun 19, 2017 08:59 AM  | Hide replies

India went everyway wrong.

In an important match that too with an arch rival, taken to bowling first was a question.

Though BUMRAH bowl a no-ball was a bad-luck, the non-contest of the almost clear LBW raises a question in us whether the captain was correct ?

Overall our players had settled for the result even before the match ?, it appears so.

There was no life at all in indian play and to top it all, captain KOHLI had a lucky catch-drop , but the very next ball he almost arranged for a catch by playing so CASUALLY. This raises a question how can a captain behave like this.

I can't call it FIXING, nonetheless it can't be said NO also.

Such a LACKLUSTRE play it was.

The team had failed the aspirations of billions. There must be some accountability.

Pakistan were their best no doubt at that and winning, loosing are all in the game if palying was with full spirit.

The spirit was very much missing, afterall they are our national players.

It appears that they have decided to give victory on platter to their enemies.

Brilliant bowling
by Clear Mind on Jun 19, 2017 08:50 AM

It was brilliant bowling by Amir combined with a large total that won them the game. Indian team did well to reach the end, but it was Pakistan's day.

If Pakistan won the cup it is because they played better. I think our selection of the team was wrong as it included players who are actually a spent force. I am referring to Yuvraj and even Dhoni. Our selectors are reluctant to drop big names unlike other countries where past performances do no matter.

Ashwin was not included in the earlier matches but there was a clamour from the public and Media over this and he was included. In both the matches he failed to deliver. So obviously the decision to keep away Ashwin from the earlier matches was a good decision. Our selection committee has to be more focussed at least in future.
