First mistake : At the toss. After winning the toss on a true flat pitch in sunshine it only makes sense to bat first. Why in the whole world can someone choose to bowl when you know chasing would always involve pressure and more so in the final of a big tournament.

Second mistake : He should have brought Jadhav earlier than he did. He brought Jadhav around 38th over that is too little too late. The quicks were taken apart especially bumrah as well Ashwin and Jadeja.

Neither he tried Yuvraj who is partnership breaker. Kohli should have had tried to slow things especially when the paki left hander opener was playing
Keep playing in this insipid manner & your days as a top international side will be numbered. A bunch of pathetic non performers who flop during crunch moments is what this team really is. Pakistan has kicked India so hard in the teeth that this is a perfect snub for being ignored in IPL. Pakistani boys were magnificent & played like a team possessed. That is commitment.
