EASILY THE SA GAME IS THE BEST OF VIRAT AS CAPTAIN
by damodaran mohan on Jun 13, 2017 04:45 PM

The single biggest change in CT for India , a pleasant one is Shikhar Dhawan! What has changed and how has it changed really ? The biggest change is he plays chanceless innings not needing a life or two before he crosses 30!That's a very big change and improvement indeed and he seems to have brought about consciously keeping the ball down while executing the ‘cut’ in the point or 3rd man region. He is getting well over the ball and not away from body while 'cutting' the ball down towards earth rather above in the sky but still making the ball race to the boundary. No wonder he doesn't need early life for playing a long innings and has become more consistent. The other very important high point for India is Virat's captaincy of playing X!! Umesh out Aswin IN but no Shami too, which is a very bold decision that paid off! It could have misfired too! It will be interesting to see if he retains the same XI or what combination he plays against B’desh and in the final which India is expected to make it. Such a bold captaincy move over and above his contribution with bat to script an emphatic win over world’s No1. side certainly makes Virat touch his pinnacle of Captaincy to become a complete Captain in such a short time of taking over !
