Over confidence by Indian Team lead to loss the match. Where they got single run turn to 4 or sometimes 6. This loss is also attributed to fielding lapses and non-conversion of half-chances. Credit to Srilankan Batsmen for playing ve and aggressive batting. India should learn from mistakes in this match and make amends to win the next crucial match against SA on 11th June.
the problem is ashwin has always seen as dhonis man csk and now pune so virat holds that animosity against ashwin . and the win against pakistan without ashwin got into virat's head . pandya and jadhav gave away more than wat they scored. that is not good mathematics
Our openers partnership was good, but the run rate was 4 to 5 per over, they did not get more runs... especially singles - If you check Srilankans got more singles than India. "Indian batsman are like.. I'll hit only boundaries and not singles. Srilankan Bowling was good in last 10 overs - bowling off side and making the batsman hitting against the wind and longer side of the field. Ashwin should have been included instead Jadhav - Reason - Jadhav is not a wicket taker and he is a bad fielder. Our bowling was very normal, not out thinking the batsman... just run and through ball at batsman. Srilanka deserved to win as their batting was good, they had a plan and executed well.

Over confidence of Indian team paid the price. 90% of Srilankan's players are new and inexperienced but they performed like professionals. Even Ashwin would be hit over 50 runs. A priced wicket of world's top player Kohli on "ZERO" won Srilanka the match.

This is second time , remembered that ,Kaccha Baccha Bangladesh chessed our 250 target very easily in carabean Island & india failed to qualified world cup semi final

Not playing Ashwin paid heavily...and in the middle of the innings the last 5 - 8 overs.. RR dropped down...easily they could have made 350 runs (Dada was keep on mentioning on this through out is commentary ...and bumrah should have been given the new ball and bhuvi the 1st change..and last kohli is not looking as aggressive he used to be this could kill the K factor in the team..
bowling weak, umesh is always expensive, he is not ODI material. dropping caches, ground feilding very bad. openers playing defensively even in power play kohli, yuvi out of form.
