There is no conflict

Mr Bisht i fail to understand where is the the conflict , Question is can Gavaskar influence selectors , does he have any business ties with the selectors , Sunny praising Dhawan didn't help Dhawan being dropped from Indian Test Team or the T20 team ?? Was Rishabh Pant (Deserving) selected for the ongoing CT ?? Sarfaraz Khan last year could not get a regular IPL birth at RCB nether was he selected for any India A or zonal team, Prithvi Shaw couldn't even land an IPL contact , so much so for Sunny influencing things, whatever biases/preferences BCCI commentators say on air in the end amounts to nothing concrete apart from pleasing or angering the viewers. If chairman of selectors MSK Prasad ran PMG then that would constitute a conflict of interest. Eagerly awaiting your reply

This is what happens when people like Guha who have no knowledge of the subject they deal with are on the Board. Didn't Guha know all this when he accepted the offer of the Supreme Court when he joined the COA. Why make a hue and cry when you are leaving ?

Commenatry and selection

The members of selection committee are expected to have the wisdom to select the team without any external influence. If the selection committee is influenced by a commentator (not only Gavasker but also others), should we retain them as selectors? How then the question of conflict of interest comes?

Conflict of Interest is everywhere!

Rare Talents and Professionals who have demonstrated brilliance and performance for country are not found on streets and they are not producable when need arises. Hence such people if they are given 2 or 3 roles , even they conflict should not be looked from same angle what others like admin or officers would be liked like.

conflict of interest

I am deeply disappointed seeing Gavaskar hobnobbing with the fugitive Mallya. He should have respected the
sentiment of his countrymen & ignored Mallya who is scoffing at our policies.

Please go and check the meaning of "conflict of interest". Your comment just shows your jealousy, not conflict of interest.
