(CONTD.)Yuvi of course excelled perhaps playing in his favorite good batting surface in England improving India’s chances in CT.Pandya too didn’t disappoint playing his intended part both with bat and ball. In fact it was his best bowling effort not seen at home before. Overall Bowling too was good but a tad below its own standards with Bumrah still not finding his rhythm bowling short more often. So bowling does need some more tightening. Fielding was atrocious except for Sir Jadeja. Wonder how the fielding level can drop suddenly so much? Kedar Jadav is a bit tardy and slow in the field. He looks lazy too and not very focused as his IPL stint too wasn’t all that great. I am not sure he deserves a place in playing XI. Experienced D/Karthik is certainly more agile in the field and should get preference over jadav. Ashwin losing his place due to the team ‘balance’ combination does look a bit weird but both Ashwin and Shami should be given chances depending upon the surface, conditions etc in the coming matches.
After all the usual media hype on Ind-Pak rivalry branding it as ‘mauka…’ ‘mother of all clashes’ and so on, the one sided affair came as a real anti-climax. It is time our Ind. TV channels learn to tone it down in future to treat it as any other cricket match and avoid organize the special cross-border cricket trash shows on TV not worth wasting time on. Pak cricket fan must understand that the sloppy fielding, Shoaib Mallick run out, two bowlers retiring mid-way,the tame surrender ....are all indicator that the team is still not that crack professional outfit it used to be couple of decades ago. Their bowling unit is reasonably good because of which they still could be winning some matches given the nature of game of cricket giving them a false sense of their strength. But they must realize that their batting looks just club level lacking the technical finesse of an international side besides the unprofessional fielding aspects etc. So the onus is more with the PCB’s professional approach back home than the current crop of cricketers to come up with a world class competitive side. Now coming to India, the loss of Toss did throw up some initial nervous moments but in the end it turned out to be a blessing in disguise the calculated fashion our openers used it as opportunity to build the innings helping the side get reassured for the remaining CT matches. Performance of Pak team is so poor since last 10 years because Pakistan government is concentrating more on militancy activity rather social development of the country. You just compare the team of 2000-05 and this team, easily your can find out the deterioration of this team and progress of the militant of Pak in the entire south east Asia. No team is ready to visit Pak for the same reason which is not alarming the Pak administration. Neither taking any action nor any programmes to control such religious based militant.

The way our armed forces are battering Pakis along the LOC, in a similar way Team India battered Pakis in the cricket field. Will these poor Paki players be allowed to live once they go back to their country? It's an extremely weak batting side for Pakistan. I doubt whether Pak will win any match in Champions Trophy. I have always been a fan of Pak's bowling. I have always considered them more ruthless and devastating than the Aussies. But it's disheartening to see the deteriorating standards of Pak cricket.

I am not the typical north Indian commoner who is fixated with Kashmir....Pakistan......hyndu......muxlim....... and then goes on to defecate in the open as though it is perfectly fine for anyone to do so !

This Pakistani team is too weak & will be annihilated by even a Bangladesh. But India would face the big challenge with SAF where they would need to bring out all their skills.
