India Pak match
by Vaidheeswaran Ramakrishnan on Jun 04, 2017 02:22 PM

Why too much is made out of a cricket match. It is being projected on par with Olympics ora war
Pakistan is a much smaller country than ours and no match to India

This is a game not war
by Inzzy on Jun 04, 2017 01:26 PM  | Hide replies

There is no need only to support India & show a false sense of patriotism. In a game I can support Australia or England or for that matter Pakistan because I love those teams better. They are better players, more skillful & provide greater enjoyment to me. I don't support them because I love those countries better. So let's be pragmatic & not bring this down to a ritualistic argument of low grade nationalism.

Forty thousand
by piri on Jun 04, 2017 08:53 AM  | Hide replies

British citizens, drawn primarily from Indian and Pakistani ghettos in and around Edgbaston, will be deliriously and fanatically waving Indian or Pakistani flags and shouting at the top of their voices in support of either team during the match.

That they are all British citizens is just a matter of detail !

If some Indian citizens do this during a match in India (supporting any foreign team with a show of foreign flags and chants), in all probability they would not only be condemned nationwide but also physically attacked !

But in Britain, native British citizens not only wont care the least about Indian and Pakistani immigrants turned British citizens shouting at the top of their voices and waving Indian and Paki flags in support of teams from their ethnic origin countries, they wont even notice it nor would the matter even get reported in any British newspaper or social media !!

Do not underestimate Pakistan
by Inzzy on Jun 04, 2017 08:51 AM  | Hide replies

These boys from Pakistan can pull a rabbit out from their bag of tricks & defeat the Indians. Take them seriously & play with utmost respect. They are a great team & on their day unbeatable. The biggest threats are not Kohli or Mahi or Yuvi but Babar Azam & Faheem of Pakistan.

BOYCOTT INDIA PAKISTAN MATCH in Champion's Trophy
by sanjay jathar on Jun 03, 2017 08:21 PM  | Hide replies

All of us should boycott India pakistan Match by avoiding the direct telecast looking to relationship of India and Pakistan for last one year. The coward Pakistani terrorists are constantly killing our Jawans in Jammu ans Kashmir. Today itself our two Jawans were killed in Qazigund. This is not a BLOCKBUSTER.

It's the question of self respect of common Indians. We as common man has an opportunity to show our commitment towards our JAWANS, their families and country as a whole. Let us show the greedy BCCI officials their place who have turned a blind eye towards the recent incidences. Let's show respect to all those Jawans who have sacrificed their lives for all of us.
