Kohli ego and immaturity
by rahul bangalore on Jun 02, 2017 10:48 AM  | Hide replies

Kohli ego and immaturity is hurting Indian cricket (if not now may be near future ) he simple wants that everyone should listen to him only including the coach and entire staff looks like. On field also when his emotion flares up no one knows . ITs time BCCI jumps in and see if some lesson is given to Kohli also

Unfortunately, Indian team will be touring for larger part of next year. Over-aggressiveness and not giving sufficient importance to bowlers' viewpoints may be counterproductive on pitches that are bowler friendly. We all have seen how Kohli performed as a captain of RCB this year, without Kumble. I don't support Viru for coach's job especially when Kohli is captain, because of the proverb in English, 'when 2 people are alike, one of them is not needed'. But anyway, those who have played the game are better judges. We are just spectators from outside.

Kohli

Kohli is digging his grave , by going against Kumble. The game is fickle & also its players & their form & luck.
Kohli is beginning to think that he knows it all & has done it all. This is the first step of going downhill. The problem with guys like Kohli, is that they dont realize when & how soon things will turn against you . It would be better for Kohli & in the interest of Indian cricket, if he focuses on his game & the team , instead of trying to score brownie points against the coach & that too a person of the stature of Kumble. It will do good to Kohli, if he doesnt allow the relationship to crumble . That is where maturity & a sound head over your shoulders come into play.

Not a fair thing from a captain

Considering Kumble's experience as a bowler and his success , i believe Kumble would have definitely given a thought about when to include whom , that too he would definitely know which kind of spinner to be included, i believe Kohli should also learn to hear the experienced coach and just not persist with ego. Moreover it is unfair that if coach and captain has a clash on selection of player its not the coach which the selectors target. I am not a big fan of either Kohli or Kumble, but seeing the turn of events looks like ego vs wise decisions will go nowhere. I would have loved to see how India performed under Kumble overseas. I don't think any other Indian coach apart from the ones currently in profession (Kumble, Dravid ...) have the vast knowledge and work ethics as these two have. BCCI please give some security to coaches also.

If the above is the yardstick applied by you, then the same applies to Kohli also. Ohhh... one should not forget that he goes around in his free time with a lass called Anushka . Is there anything else ? Grow up Patil ,, Comparing peoples identity
